As part of our international outreach program, the foundation is raising awareness of issues in Gorkha through cultural enrichment projects with UK schools. The Education at the Epicenter project has collected together a wealth of curriculum specific materials to enhance students’ understanding of global issues and provide a window on the reality of life in Gorkha.

Together with key partners, the UK-Nepal Friendship Society (UKNFS) and the Nepal International Arts Program (NIAP), we are able to bring first-hand experience and resources to schools to help teachers plan exciting and relevant lessons, giving students truly memorable and meaningful engagement with social issues and our humanitarian mission.

Our partner in 2015/16 is Baden Powell and St Peter’s Junior School in Dorset, UK. Follow the link and watch this space for documentation on how they bring a typically Nepali flavor to their school this year.
