As the COVID crisis developed in 2020, teachers faced with ever evolving challenges, and the participants continue to meet to collaborate on finding ways to face those challenges together. For instance, teachers identified a problem that one Gurung community was having with trusting official COVID testing and treatment during the surge in COVID cases caused by the Delta variant. Teachers used their new ICT skills to collaborate with doctors and VDC community leaders to produce targeted information for broadcast on the radio and social media. This empowered the teachers to bring positive change to their communities in a time of crisis.
